You guys know that my kids and I are HUGE fans of Stretch Island fruit leathers, so I’m super excited to tell you about the new Stretch Island Fruit Chews! They come in various flavors including Oh So Very Strawberry, Very Cherry and Razz-Mataz Raspberry and they are tasty!
We got to taste these recently and my kids clamored to try them as soon as they saw the boxes. They are actually shaped like small Twizzlers Nibs (that was the first comment my children made), but they have the same great taste of the fruit leathers! This is my favorite part as a mom – ready? Here are the ingredients in the box I’m holding now (the Raspberry flavor): Apple Puree Concentrate, Pear Puree Concentrate, Raspberry Puree Concentrate and Lemon Juice Concentrate. That’s it! That’s all! I know and understand every single word in the ingredients and that makes me comfortable giving them to my children.
Here’s what my son had to say, “I really like them because they are a little hard and they have lots of flavor. They taste a lot like candy too.” And I’m okay with that because I know they’re fruit!
