In trying to set a good example for you all, I’ve been trying to think of what makes me refreshingly different. I’ve come up with a few things, but I think that they all kind of fall into the same category – I believe in following whatever adventures or life circumstances fall in your lap (provided they don’t hurt you or anyone else). Get invited to a play even though it’s an hour past your “bedtime?” Go! You never know what could come from that experience. I try to live that way and I try to encourage others to do the same. (Within the first three months of dating my husband he said that he’d always wanted to go to New Orleans. By the next night, I had booked us train tickets (I’d always wanted to get a sleeper room on a train!) and a flight back. Why not?)
