KRE-O Transformers Autobot Ratchet Set Giveaway – 2 Winners!

My son is obsessed with Transformers. I’ve told him that he can’t see the live-action movie yet, but between my husband’s old transformers and the new sets around, he’s obsessed. So when I ran into the Hasbro representatives at Blogher and heard about the new KRE-O line of Transformers models, I had to check them out.

The model that we got is this KRE-O Transformers Autobot Ratchet Set. My son got right to work putting it together. He sat in his room for hours with the instructions (which is saying something for a five year old!). After a few moments of needing help, he emerged happily with his brand new toy.

This thing is very cool. It constructs just like Legos and it’s huge. It’s about 2-3 times larger than your normal action figure and it’s a Transformer! You can build it as either the fire engine or the figure and it comes with additional figures, a stretcher, a fire axe and an extinguisher.

My son has now introduced it to all of our extended family and regularly shows us all of the “tricks” he’s come up with. He has also asked (more than once) for another model for his birthday. That’s really all the convincing I need.

I find that my kids tend to be some of the best judges of toys. My son loves this, had a great time building it and I’ve been able to see how sturdy it is after he’s been playing with it for hours. Definitely keep your eyes peeled for deals on these for the holidays. I know I will be!
