Once upon a time in a land not so far away Walgreens had monthly rebates. The people were very sad when they were discontinued, but just got good news – Walgreens rebates are back! This was a favorite program for a lot of people, so hopefully it’ll be just as good when it comes back full force. This first month has only three (not all that interesting) rebates (more on those soon), but maybe they’re just finding their groove again.
Here is how this works:
Purchase an item included in the Walgreens rebates for the month. Once you have made your purchase, you can file your rebate in one of two ways:
You will have several options to choose from for cashing out your rebate:
- Walgreens Gift Card – This gives you 10% additional cash back and is reloadable month to month.
- Walgreens Pre-Paid Visa Card – For rebates over $10. Accepted anywhere Visa is. There will be a fee after the first 12 months.
- Rebate Check – Sent to your house in 8-10 weeks
- Paypal Deposit
I highly recommend the Walgreens Gift Card if you are even an “every once in a while” Walgreens shopper. If you have rebates totaling $40, you’ll get a free $4 back to spend on anything else! It does add up over time.
