I just got back from doing the Nivea deal over at CVS and there are a few things to note. First, the limit is not one! I did the deal a first time, got my $5 ECB and saw that there was another deal available per my receipt. I got back in line and did the deal a second time only to find that there was ANOTHER deal available per my receipt. By that time the line was too long to try it again, but I can tell you for sure that the limit is at least three! I will be going back another day (when I have more time) to pick up some more. Nivea is my lip balm of choice and anything under $1 is a stock-up price! Paying $1 is reasonable if you are running out. 🙂
Second! Only some of the lip care worked for this deal. During my first order I purchased three light blue “A Kiss of Smoothness.” During my second order I tried to purchase three dark blue “A Kiss of Moisture,” but they wouldn’t ring at the sale price. I grabbed three more “A Kiss of Smoothness,” but they didn’t ring up at the sale price either!! What we discovered is that the UPC that rang during the first order ended in “00268.” The new ones had a completely different code and didn’t work. Be very careful to make sure that your lip balm is ringing in correctly! You should see three $2.99 purchases and a discount afterward. If you see anything more than that, the deal won’t work.
Good luck shopping and here is the deal again in case you’re not sure what the scoop is:
Buy 3 Nivea Lip Care $2.25 each ($6.75)
Pay $6.75, Get $5 ECB
Final Price: 3/$1.75 ($.58 each!)
