I had to run out to Jewel to pick up some coffee for my husband, so I did a quick GM deal. This is pretty much a repeat of one of the deals I posted earlier, but I thought I’d write it up in case there was anyone who was confused about how Jewel CAT deals work.
Here’s what I did:
7 Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt
5 Nature Valley Nut Clusters
I used
6 $1 Yoplait coupons
1 $.50 Yoplait coupons (I couldn’t print any more!)
5 $1 Nut Clusters coupons
$4 Register Rewards from Walgreens
Final Price: $7.97
I got back $13.50 CAT and 100 Box Tops (2 $5 CAT for GM deal, $3.50 CAT for Nut Clusters, 2 50 coupons for Box Tops)
Total Cost: I made $1.03
My cashier was in shock watching the CAT’s print out. That is always part of the fun of these deals. I didn’t know how to explain that the CAT machine thought that I had just racked up $40 even thought I only paid $7.97. Ah, the fun of Jewel!
A lot of people have reported having trouble finding the yogurt in stock because of this deal, but my store had a ton. It would be worth it to call your store before you go. It’s too cold out to go there for nothing!
