Super Easy Doritos Nachos

Super Easy Doritos Nachos Recipe One of the quickest dishes to prepare is a super easy Doritos Nachos. It’s perfect for game day, for a party or for a fun dinner with the family! You can use all of my ingredients listed here or pick and choose as you like, but everyone is going to love it!

Ingredients:
2 cups Doritos
4 lbs ground beef
1 cup shredded Romaine lettuce
1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese
1/4 cup red or Spanish onion
1/4 red bell pepper
1 sliced avocado
1/2 cup French’s French Fried Onions
3 tbsp olive oil (total)
2 tbsp Taco Seasoning (I used Ortega)
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1/2 tsp McCormick’s Mexican Style Chili Powder
1 tsp McCormick’s Chipotle Sea Salt

Optional Toppings (not pictured here):
  • Jalapeno peppers
  • Salsa
  • Sour Cream
  • Sriracha hot sauce

Super Easy Doritos Nachos Recipe Prep and cut all of your veggies ahead of time and separate into small bowls for accessibility and to save time later. When you are near ready to serve your nachos, begin to cook the meat. In a skillet, add 2 tbsp of olive oil and ground beef to cook. Season with taco seasoning, fresh cracked black pepper, Mexican style chili powder and Chipotle sea salt to taste. Cook thoroughly, drain any fat and remove the beef with a slotted spoon. Place the cooked beef into a bowl and place aside.

Super Easy Doritos Nachos Recipe Wipe your skillet clean and add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Pan fry 1/2 cup of French’s French Fried Onions until toasted. On a plate, arrange the Doritos and top with your ground beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, avocado and red onion. Top this with more cheese and your pan fried French’s French Fried Onions. Serve for game day or any other gathering!

Instructions

  1. Prep all veggies ahead of time and separate into bowls.
  2. In a skillet, add 2 tbsp of olive oil and ground beef. Season with taco seasoning, fresh cracked black pepper, Mexican style chili powder and Chipotle sea salt.
  3. When finished cooking, remove beef from skillet with a slotted spoon and place into a bowl.
  4. Wipe skillet clean and add 1 tbsp of olive oil and pan fry 1/2 cup of French's French Fried Onions until toasted.
  5. On a plate, arrange Doritos and top with ground beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, avocado and red onion.
  6. Top with more cheese and pan fried French's French Fried Onions.
