Red, White & Blue Sugar Cookie Tart Recipe If you’re going to a 4th of July Party or planning a barbecue for Memorial Day or Labor Day, this Red, White & Blue Sugar Cookie Tart is unbelievably easy and the perfect dessert to serve! Anyone can help you make this recipe (perfect for the kids to gloat that they baked this all by themselves!) and it tastes great. It will also serve more people than you’d think – it’s a very rich dessert, so you can cut the pieces a bit smaller!

Ingredients:
1 pouch (6.25 ounce) sugar cookie mix (12 cookie size) plus butter to make them (whatever the package calls for)
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 cup Red, White & Blue M&M’s

Red, White & Blue Sugar Cookie Tart Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, follow the sugar cookies prep directions according to the package. Press the cookie mixture into a tart pan and spread it evenly with your fingers. Bake 7-9 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.

Red, White & Blue Sugar Cookie Tart Recipe In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips for about 30 seconds and stir. Heat in 10 second increments until completely melted, stirring in between each segment. (If you prefer, you can also melt them in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.) Spread the melted chocolate chips evenly over your cooled, prepared cookie. Sprinkle with Red, White & Blue M&M’s candy. Allow this to set for about 5 minutes. Cut and serve or cool completely and cut later. This serves about 10-12 people. Remember, it’s rich, so cut the slices small!
