Whether you’re looking for a fun Thanksgiving breakfast or a special dessert for your guests, this Maple Cranberry Cinnamon Roll Waffles recipe will have everyone asking you how you made them! The best part is that this dish is incredibly easy and anyone can make it! This recipe will yield eight waffles, so double it if you need more.
Ingredients:
1 tube cinnamon roll dough 8 ct (I used Pillsbury)
2 cups cranberry sauce (with cranberry pieces, not jellied)
1 tsp butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 cup softened cream cheese
2 Tbsp cinnamon roll icing (included with the 8 ct cinnamon roll tube)
Preheat your waffle iron and spray with non-stick cooking spray if needed. Once the waffle iron is heated, add the cinnamon rolls one at a time as shown in the photo (one in each space). Close the lid and allow them to cook through (about 5-6 minutes).
While they are cooking, in a pot, add the cranberry sauce and maple syrup. Mix well and bring to a low bubble. Take off the heat, stir in the butter and set aside. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese with the cinnamon roll icing.
Plate the waffles (as you would before serving – individually or on a large plate) and spread a dollop of cream cheese icing onto the tops. Spoon out the maple cranberry sauce over that and serve!
