Candy Corn Krispies Treats

The perfect twist for Halloween, these easy and delicious dessert treats are something that anyone can make. Make them for your Halloween party or just for fun during the Halloween season!

Ingredients:
4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz bag of marshmallows
3 Tbsp softened butter
Orange candy melts
Yellow candy melts
Orange sugar sprinkles

candy-corn-krispies-treats Grease a 9×9 baking dish with butter and set aside. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat your marshmallows and butter for 1-2 minutes until the marshmallows start to grow. Remove the bowl and thoroughly mix your cereal in with your marshmallows. Press your Rice Krispies mixture evenly into the bottom of your greased pan and set in the fridge for a few hours to harden. Cut your pan of Rice Krispies into triangles (cut down the center, then cut each section in a zigzag pattern.)

candy-corn-krispies-treats Melt one cup of each color candy melt at a time, each in a microwave safe dish for 3-4 minutes on 50 percent power, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Dip 3/4 of your Rice Krispie triangles into your melted yellow chocolate (holding the top point, so the wider section goes in) then set on a piece of parchment paper to harden. Once hardened, double dip the bottom 1/4 into the melted orange chocolate (holding the top point again) and top with sprinkles. Set in the fridge for about 15 minutes to harden then enjoy!
