If you’re looking for a healthier way to flavor your meats, check this out! Texas-based Stubb’s has an easy solution with new Injectable Marinades in Texas Butter and Chipotle Butter flavors. Packaged with their own injectors they help home cooks get a juicy, flavorful holiday bird without added calories or artificial ingredients, such as the phosphates used by other brands. (The marinade is only 10 calories per tbsp. and, like all Stubb’s products, is all-natural, certified gluten free and contains no high fructose corn syrup!) It is available at 85% of grocery stores nationwide and only about $3.79 per bottle, so Stubb’s is also less expensive than the $6-$7 price of other brands!
If you’re looking to make something other than turkey, the marinade is also great for pork and chicken. Check out this YouTube video showing how to use the injectable, featuring Stubb’s grandson Rocky, here.
Choose from Sweet & Spicy, Injectable Marinades and Spice Rubs.
I got the chance to try Stubb’s recently and used it both on my chicken and for dipping fries (my favorite way to eat BBQ sauce!) It’s a thick sauce that is not too sweet, but tangy. It also has a little kick without being overwhelming – a plus for my husband and myself. My husband mentioned that it also had a little smoke without tasting like scrapings from the bottom of the Weber. That made me laugh, but it’s true! We liked it and we were able to find it easily on the shelf at our local Jewel.
To get everyone excited about spicing up their next meal, I am giving five lucky winners a free Stubb’s BBQ Sauce coupon!
