This was a STELLAR deal week at both CVS and Walgreens, so I have been super excited to shop. This is one of those weeks where several items that my household uses regularly were on a great sale. I have been waiting (impatiently) for a good Herbal Essences deal (it’s been forever since we’ve seen anything under $1!) and my stock up price for feminine protection is anything under $1.50. Also, we are back in school in just about a month and my kids love to take Chex Mix along, so I grabbed some of that as well. Here’s what I did:
CVS
3 Tampax Pearl/Radiant $4.49 each (Used 3 $2 Tampax from 7/6 P&G)
2 Always Radiant $4.49 each (Used 2 $2 Always from 7/6 P&G)
2 Oral-B Replacement Brushes $5.99 each (Used $2 off $10 Oral Care CVS coupon (from last week’s Red Coupon Machine) AND 2 $3 from 7/27 P&G)
Also used $10 in ECB from previous weeks
Paid $6.43 plus tax, Got $5 ECB from P&G and $6 ECB from Oral-B
Final Price: $5.43
Walgreens
4 Chex Mix 4/$6 (Used 2 $.60/2 here or here)
1 Purell 8 oz + Travel Size free pack $2.99 (Used $2 Purell coupon (explanation here) AND $1 Purell from Walgreens August coupon booklet)
7 Herbal Essences Hairspray 2/$6 (Used 3 $3/2 from 7/27 P&G and $1 Herbal Essences coupon)
1 Wexford Wooden Ruler $.17 win-ad coupon (my filler so that I could use my RR from last week)
Also used Get 50 points for every $1 in personal care in-ad coupon
Also used $10 Register Reward from last week
Paid $5.96, Got 2,000 points from Chex, 5,000 points from Herbal Essences and 1,100 bonus points and $.50 Chex from SavingStar
Final Price: $7.36
All in all I spent a total of $12.79 for a TON of stuff that I can use and that will last me for many months. Also, I can now check Purell and the ruler off my Back-To-School shopping list! I hope this gives you some ideas! Happy shopping!
