My CVS and Walgreens shops this week were going to be teeny tiny. I was at Great Wolf Lodge until today with my family (hopefully you didn’t notice any change in the deals – a girl can’t run CONSTANTLY through the water park!), so I knew that I just wanted to get a few of the best deals that I saw. First I stopped at Walgreens – no Vitamin Water and no Speed Stick on the shelves. Ugh – this is why I shop on Sundays! So I ran over to CVS to get a few other necessities.
I think that we can all agree that I have a laundry detergent problem. My stock up price is around $1.75 per container, but I usually become a sucker for anything $2 or less. I can’t help it! We all have that “thing” that we get excited to see deals for and mine is detergent. Hands down. When the world goes into laundry detergent crisis, you can come to my house and get some. Here’s what I did at CVS:
2 Colgate MaxFresh Toothpaste $3 each (Used 2 $1 Colgate from 8/24 SS)
1 Tide Detergent $4.94 (Used $2 Tide from 7/27 P&G)
Also used $5.79 ECB from previous weeks
Paid $1.15 plus tax, Got $4 ECB from Colgate and $1 ECB from Tide
Final Price: $1.94
Do I care that much about the Vitamin Water or the Speed Stick. Not a crazy amount. I might stop into another Walgreens later this week if I have a chance, but I may just take a pass. Neither of these are critical and since I have no Register Rewards to burn, I’m just going to play that one by ear. Be sure to check out my CVS and Walgreens shop suggestion for the week and I hope you have fun! Happy Shopping!
