Fine Print: I was given a Krusteaz Prize Pack for review and they are giving another to a reader. All opinions and statements below are my own.
My daughter loves to bake. It’s one of her absolute favorite things to do and even at seven years old, she’s gotten to the point where I can sit in the kitchen and monitor, but she does all the baking. She gets a huge thrill from the independence, she gets more experience which builds her confidence and we have yummy treats in the house! Now that we are back in school though, it’s harder and harder to find the time to let her bake or to bake anything myself. So when Krusteaz reached out to me about their Back-To-School idea, I jumped!
Krusteaz has released a new line of cookies (Right?? Cookies!) that include the following:
- Triple Chocolate Chunk
- Meyer Lemon
- Double Peanut Butter
- Brown Sugar Oatmeal
- Oatmeal Scotchie
- Butter Vanilla Sugar
These are easy to make, requiring the boxed mix, an egg and some butter (both of which you likely already have in your kitchen!) and take only minutes. Even better, they’re perfect for that crunch when you want to make something delicious but really don’t have the time to invest in hours of baking!
My daughter chose to make the Meyer Lemon cookies first and she picked a good one! These were extremely easy for her to mix together (remember, she’s only seven!) and drop in spoonfuls on the cookie sheets. They took only about 10 minutes until they were done and after we let them cool, she got to decorate them with the included Yellow Decorating Sugar Packet! We found that they were soft and chewy and that even my son (who is the pickiest eater I’ve ever met) enjoyed them! Believe me, that’s a win!
To get everyone excited about the new Krusteaz cookie options, I am giving one lucky winner a Krusteaz Back to School prize pack containing one of each of the Krusteaz mixes mentioned above, an apron, an oven mitt and a lunchbox!
To enter this giveaway, complete any or all of the options listed below. Giveaway ends 10/2. Good luck!
