Have you heard of De Wafelbakkers? It’s a name that you don’t easily forget! I first tried De Wafelbakkers Pancakes last year and fell completely head over heels in love with them. I asked where they were sold and was told that they were primarily at Walmart and Whole Foods. While Walmart is a great option, many Chicagoans will tell you that it’s is not as convenient to get to as most of the other grocery stores in our area. That being the case, I tried to let the people at De Wafelbakkers know that we would LOVE if they could expand into our local stores. And I am SO excited to tell you that they are now being sold at Jewel-Osco and Butera!!
After my obsession with De Wafelbakkers Pancakes started, I got a bunch for my kids to try. I dove into the Buttermilk, Blueberry and the Minis, which have always been a favorite of my daughter’s. They love them as much as I do! The pancakes are packaged in threes so that you don’t get freezer burn on the rest. You put them on a plate and pop them in the microwave. Just over a minute later you have breakfast (or dinner if you’re in my house)! Seriously, my family asks to have them for dinner at least once per week. That includes my husband who thinks they are delicious!
In addition to the varieties I mentioned above, you can also find Maple, Buckwheat Berry, Sweet Potato, Whole Grain Blueberry, Whole Grain and Whole Grain Minis! The varieties that you find will depend on your store, but you can always ask for them to request a different variety from De Wafelbakkers if they don’t have the one you want!
Best of all, through 4/8, you will find De Wafelbakkers Pancakes on sale at Jewel-Osco for only $2.99! Use the $1 De Wafelbakkers printable coupon from their Facebook page to get them for $1.99 and try them out for yourself!
