Olay has come out with a great new rebate: Buy $50 in Olay Cleansers, Moisturizers or Treatments, Get a $20 rebate. I love Olay rebates because many times we can turn them into a moneymaker! Luckily for us, this seems to be one of those times!
Walgreens has Olay included in the P&G Personal Care deal that runs through 11/6. If you’ve purchased any of the above products as a part of that deal, keep your receipt and submit it towards this!
Target is also running a fantastic deal where you get a $5 Target gift card when you purchase two participating products. Try rolling this transaction:
Buy 2 Olay Foaming Face Washes $3.50 each
Buy 2 Olay Refreshing Toners $2.84 each
Pay $12.68, Get 2 $5 Target gift cards
Transaction #2
Buy 2 Olay Foaming Face Washes $3.50 each
Buy 2 Olay Refreshing Toners $2.84 each
Use 2 $5 Target gift cards
pay $2.68, Get 2 $5 Target gift cards
Do this transaction two more times until you’ve got eight of each product and have “spent” $50.72! You will have actually spent $20.72 out of pocket and still be holding $10 in Target gift cards. Then submit for the $20 rebate to turn this entire transaction into a $9.28 moneymaker! Plus, if you have any of the $1 Olay coupons from 10/10 P&G or 10/31 P&G, throw those into your transactions to make even more!
If you’d rather not do so many transactions, you could purchase all eight of each product in one transaction, pay $50.72, and get back eight $5 Target gift cards, but you will be paying quite a bit more out of pocket. Do whatever works best for you (and your Target experience!).
This rebate doesn’t expire until 1/31/11, so we’ve got a bunch of time to play with it! I would make sure to print the rebate or save it to your computer now, though. Rebates can sometimes disappear long before they expire, so you want to have a copy in case that happens!
