While I was at Blogher, I had the opportunity to meet some great people from Avery Dennison, the school and office supply company. They make fabulous products that can be used everywhere and you probably already have some in your home!
Well now, Avery is hosting a sweepstakes! The Avery Celebrates Teachers Sweepstakes is being held in honor of our teachers and how much they give of their time and to our students. Due to budget cuts, they are also having to give of their personal funds. Avery is hoping that this sweepstakes will help to give back to a few special teachers.
To enter this sweepstakes you must be a school employee (Teacher, Aide, Administrator, etc) or a homeschooling parent. You can read the Official Rules for further information.
Prizes include:
- One (1) grand prize package, which includes: a goodie bag of Avery products valued at $500; a SpaFinder gift card valued at $350; and a Starbucks gift card valued at $150
- Three (3) second prize packages valued at $200 each
- Five (5) third prize packages valued at $80 each
If you aren’t school faculty, you can also help by cutting Box Tops! Avery participates in the Box Tops for Education program and provides Box Tops on their products. Make sure to cut them out and give them to your school so that they can turn them in for cash!
Avery Dennison is also generously providing a gift to one Couponing For 4 reader! One lucky winner will win an Avery Gift Basket (a $50 value!) similar to the one in the picture above!
There are several ways to enter this giveaway:

I love when teachers are just as excited as the kids! It’s so beautiful to see a teacher with passion, rather than just doing a job.

I had a wonderful teacher in 2nd grade. When my family moved, she had the whole class write and send me letters for months until I felt comfortable in my new home and classroom. I will never forget that.

I had a great world history teacher that was soooo personable and great at making learning history fun. He even taught us about people who stutter (he stuttered) and helped us have empathy and understanding of those who stutter. annejk112233@yahoo.com

My favorite teacher was Mr. Malone–he taught science and was more of a friend than teacher–he would go out of his way to help you any way he could.

My Daddy is the most caring teacher around. He teaches 8th and 9th grade History (which definitely takes a special person to deal with Jr. High kids), and has been teaching for 17 years. He has so many kids that probably wouldn’t even have graduated come up to him later on and tell him how much he meant to them and how he cared when nobody else did! It makes me so proud. He started teaching when I was in 8th grade. Since then, he has taught my younger sister and brother and is now my oldest son’s Freshman History teacher! :0)
