New "Your Bucks" Catalina Program At Jewel

This is kind of crazy, so hold onto your seats! I just read on Couponer’s Wanted that there is a brand new Catalina program that is starting at Jewel! This will run from 2/10-5/4 (maybe they’re testing it out??) and involves loading coupons onto your preferred card (like Cellfire, Shortcuts, etc at Dominick’s).

Here’s the deal:

Go to the TV Catalina Website and register your Jewel Preferred Card. You will see a bunch of offers that will produce “$$ OYNO Catalinas” after purchase! Here are the ones it loaded for me (I think they’re all the same):

After registering my card I was told that my offers would be ready 2/13 – so don’t go now! Also, the video says that they will load new offers every two weeks, so we’ll have to wait and see what shows up!

The terms say “There is a limit of one YourBucks Award for any particular Program Award per transaction. You can participate as often as you wish during any Broadcast period.” That sounds as if we could buy one of each of these and get a CAT for each, but we can’t buy 10 of any one (the same as Walgreens). So if you want 5 Silk Soymilk, you have to do 5 transactions. BUT, we won’t know any of this for sure until people start playing with it in a few days.

Plus – “Everyone who registers will receive the opportunity to participate in a survey. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive a $3.00 discount on a subsequent purchase of $25.00 or more in Jewel-Osco, good until June 15, 2010.” I have no clue if the $25 is before or after coupons, but we should find out soon!

**UPDATE – Christina pointed out that there maybe limits to what stores you can use these CATs at. “Store Location Limits: Your Awards will only be available at the store chain you identified when you registered for the program and only at the specific store location within that chain where you shop most frequently.” This may be one store or three stores. We’ll know more soon!**
