Preschool day means shopping for me! My daughter was a champ as we went from store to store this morning. Of course, the constant flow of goldfish and fruit leathers does help things!
There were a bunch of deals that I wanted to take advantage of this week and a few things we needed, so I hit Walgreens, CVS, and Dominick’s. I wouldn’t have gone to Walgreens at all, but my husband asked for Twizzlers and were were out. Also, my girlfriend just had a baby (Congrats Beth!) and I wanted to pick up some diapers for her. I’ve been convinced that there is no better present than diapers for a new baby – particularly when it’s not a first child. You already have everything!
Walgreens
7 Bags of Twizzlers
I used
$10.50 RR from previous transactions
Final Price: $.24
I got back $5 RR
Total Cost: $5.24
Now we should be set on Twizzlers for several months! I was also going to pick up some of the cheap Crest, but at my store they were $2.99 and $.75 is too much for me to pay for toothpaste.
CVS
4 Caffeine Free Diet Coke (B3G1)
1 Aussie Shampoo
1 Colgate Total
1 Crest with Scope
1 Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash
2 Sobe Lifewater
I used
$4/$20 from home mailer
1 $1 Aussie coupon
1 $1 Colgate coupon
1 $1 Crest Toothpaste coupon
1 $2 Crest Mouthwash coupon
1 B1G1 Sobe coupon (making them both free)
$14.98 ECB from previous transactions
Final Price: $2.31 (ALL of which was tax – grrr)
I got back $9 ECB ($7 Crest, $2 Aussie, $2 Colgate)
Total Cost: $8.29
I was going to buy two of the Crest Pro Mouthwash, but there was only one left on the shelf, so I went with the toothpaste. My toothpaste coupon should have been $.75, but I just realized that I must’ve given her my expired $1 coupon. I WOULD NOT have done that if I had realized. Bad Mojo, but it was an honest mistake!
Dominick’s
1 Box Pampers Diapers
1 Hormel Compleates
4 Froot Loops
1 Starbucks Coffee
1 Minute Maid OJ
2 Fiber One Yogurt
4 John Morrell Turkey Tubs
1 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (I needed something at the last minute to bump my total over $50. Happy Valentine’s Day to me!)
I used
$5/$50 from Entertainment Book
1 $2 Pampers coupon
$2 Pampers e-coupon came off from P&G
1 $2 Hormel Compleates coupon
2 $2/2 Kellogg’s cereal coupons
1 $1 Starbucks coupon
2 $1 Fiber One Yogurt coupons
$4 Fiber One e-coupons came off
1 B3G1 John Morrell coupon
Final Price: $27.81
I got back $3 CAT for Kellogg’s
Total Cost: $24.81
After I did this deal, I got an “official” notice about the Kellogg’s CAT. This deal runs through 3/10 and includes all of the cereals I listed before plus Honey Smacks.
