My Jewel Shop Today And A Your Bucks Rundown

by Alli on February 20, 2010

For those of you who haven’t ventured out to Jewel for the Your Bucks promotion yet, I thought I’d give you a few ideas. This is a GREAT promotion and there are a bunch of ways to take advantage of it.

On a side note, I heard a rumor that the Avenue will be going away eventually. I don’t think any of us will miss it all that much. Not a bad program, but not particularly all that helpful.

Here’s what I did

4 Kikkoman Soy Sauce $1.99 each
2 Lean Cuisine $1.99 each
2 Purina Beggin Strips $2.99 each
2 Gallons of Milk $2.38 each
1 Tyson Chicken Nuggets $3.99
1 Jewel Wheat Bread $.79
1 Jewel Large Eggs $1.39
1 Diet Dr. Pepper 2 liter $1.25

I used
Free Diet Dr. Pepper 2 liter (Saturday only – at the register)
2 B1G1 Kikkoman from Kikkoman Sweep
1 B1G1 Beggin Strips from 1/31 SS
1 $1/2 Beggin Strips peelie (there were a ton on the bags – look at your store!)
$9.50 Your Bucks CAT’s from previous transaction
$3 Dominick’s CAT
$3 Walgreens RR

Final Price: $7.70
I got back $2.50 CAT for Kikkoman and $9.50 Your Bucks CATs ($2 Purina, $1 Jewel Bread, $1 Jewel Eggs, $2.50 Lean Cuisine, $3 Tyson)
Total Cost: $11.20

The Your Bucks program is a GREAT program (wait, did I say that already??)! The deals that I find the most useful I included in this shop, but there are many more.

Here’s a quick rundown of a few deals:

-Jewel Eggs $1.39, Get $1 back = $.39
-Lean Cuisine $1.99 each, Get $2 wyb 2 = 2/$1.50

Every time I go to Jewel right now I pick up a loaf of Jewel Bread. If you’re not sure what to do with all that bread, do what I did! Send an email to a few neighbors or friends that says, “Want some Jewel bread? White or wheat?” kenyit
