Use Your Dominick’s Freebie Coupons At Jewel!

I just read a long conversation on Couponer’s Wanted with fascinating new coupon information! Jewel (who actually has a written coupon policy – Dominick’s are you listening??) will accept Dominick’s Store coupons if they are for Dominick’s brand items (Lucerne, Safeway). Sooo, take your daily Dominick’s freebie coupons over to Jewel and “buy” their store brand items instead! Use your Register Rewards from Wags or your CAT’s from the GM/Pepsi promotion to pay for your “over $20″ order (as stated on the coupon) and score a bunch of cheap groceries with your free daily item!

One note, though – some people are having trouble with this working. Apparently it IS policy, but many cashiers aren’t aware of it. They will need to check with customer service or the store manager. If they still have a problem accepting them, politely ask them to call Corporate (because you know that it is part of the policy) or politely let them know that you will be calling in the morning just to verify. Corporate is aware of the policy and (especially with this deal!) has been called frequently about it. They will take care of you.
