My Wags Shop Today And A Bonus For Chicagoans

by Alli on October 22, 2009

I can honestly say that this is one of the few times that I know of where living in a city that has higher prices helped me out. I love the food, the theater, the arts, the beach, and all that, but you pay a premium!

For those of you who live in the Chicagoland area or areas where you find that prices are a bit higher, you can get a Ricola moneymaker at Walgreens! The post that I wrote earlier regarding Ricola had the product priced at $1.99. At my Wags, Ricola sell for $2.49. That means that the deal I wrote about earlier is actually a $.98 moneymaker!

Here’s what I did

2 Ricola
2 Ricola plus Vitamin C
3 Triaminic
1 Sure
1 Halls Refresh

I used
3 $1.50 Triaminic coupons
1 $1.50 Sure coupon
2 B1G1 Ricola (took off $2.49 for each)
1 $.50 Halls coupon (peelie in front of product)
1 $.50 Ricola from Healthy Savings Booklet (took off $2)
1 $2 Triaminic coupon from Healthy Savings Booklet (took off $6)
1 2/$3 Ricola in-ad coupon
1 2/$3 Sure in-ad coupon

Final Price: $4.63
Got back $9 RR ($8 Triaminic, $1 Halls)
Total Cost: I made $4.37

I thought about trying to add some fillers (Emergen-C, Chapstick) to push my total over the $9 (my Zantac RR), but my daughter wasn’t in a patient kind of mood, so I just paid and got out of there.
