Now that I’m back in town, I needed/wanted to get a few things at the store. I grabbed a bunch of produce and milk yesterday at Butera for about $20 (they have the best produce around me!), but there was some other stuff I wanted at Jewel. Plus, I wanted to try the Walgreens Triaminic deal and discovered an almost expired ECB from CVS, so I stopped there too.

Here’s what I did:

Got $4 RR back ($1 Trident, $3 True North)

$2 coupon for Triaminic (I found it on the box!)
$2 coupon from Healthy Savings Booklet (became $4)
$3 RR from previous purchase

Final Price: $1.23
Got $5 RR back (the deal is no longer active!)
Total Cost: I made $.77

1 Dyna Energy
1 Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

I used:
1 coupon for free Hershey’s product (which came out of the magic coupon machine at CVS)
$5 ECB

Final Price: $.18
Got $4.99 ECB back
Total Cost: $.19

Total Cost: $7.61

The total cost of all my trips was $7.31. All of this cost came off of gift cards or through CAT’s, but it was a cost nonetheless. Plus, I found $1 CAT balled up in my cart at Walgreens! Don’t throw away your CAT’s! They are not garbage! And if you really don’t want them, give them to me. 🙂

One thing I’d like to point out about my trip to CVS. I have no need for the Dyna Energy things. I honestly don’t even understand what they are (you drink a drop for more energy?). But, my ECB were expiring and there was nothing I needed. The best way to keep your ECB around is by rolling them. I will end up giving the product away, but for $.18 I rolled my $5 ECB into a $4.99 ECB and will have it around for another month when maybe I will need something.
