If I have not expressed myself well in the past, know that I love Vocalpoint. Love, love, love Vocalpoint. If you do nothing else that I write about in this blog, think about joining Vocalpoint (maybe they’ll hire me as a part-time promotional person?).
I posted about this program recently here, but I want to tell you a bit more about my love for them. They send you random coupons (usually one freebie coupon and 5 or 6 high-value coupons for the same product), don’t expect much (if anything), and will never bug you!
Two days ago I received a Kashi Honey Sunshine mailer and sample from them. I had no idea it was coming. It contained a free coupon and 5 $1.50 coupons that don’t expire until 10/31.
If you remember, there is now a Mix and Match Buy 5, Get $5 deal going on at Dominick’s and other Safeway stores.
Honey Sunshine is priced at $2 per box, and $1 per box if you buy 5 participating products
SO, if you buy 5 boxes of Honey Sunshine and use 5 $1.50 coupons (save the freebie for later!), you will make $2.50 towards the additional groceries in your order and have 5 boxes of cereal.
You could also buy 5 boxes of Honey Sunshine, use 3 coupons, pay $.50 for 5 boxes, and, in a separate transaction, use 2 coupons and the freebie for another 5 boxes (which should all be free if the cashier takes off the $2 price of the item).
So, because of Vocalpoint, you could get 10 boxes of cereal for $.50. That’s a pretty good deal if I do say so myself.
**UPDATE** After going to the store to verify if this deal would work, I saw that the gentleman at the store gave me the wrong pricing information over the phone earlier. The boxes are $3 each, not $2. So using the coupons would make these $.50 per box after the instant savings. That’s still some very cheap cereal, but not a moneymaker. Sorry about the confusion!!
