Kmart Doubles 8/30 – 9/5

by Alli on August 31, 2009

Our last Super Doubles for the year!

The rumor is that Kmart will start Super Doubles again in 2010, but we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed that that’s true. So let’s just focus on our last one for now.

The rules for this round are:

-Your total before coupons must be at least $25.

-Coupons up to and including $2 will be doubled.

-Only 4 coupons per like product are allowed.

-There are a maximum of 10 coupons allowed per transaction.

-Both print and Internet coupons are allowed.

A few notes on what to expect -
First, prices and coupons are different in different regions. The coupons listed may not be in your inserts or they may list different values. The shelf prices for products may change the value you are saving. You will have to double check for yourself once you are there.

Second, not all Kmarts will reliably have all of the products listed. For example, the one I go to on Elston in Chicago is very well stocked in toiletries/healthcare/personal care, but have almost no groceries. Do not be overly surprised if you can’t find something.

Third, make sure to watch the coupons/products that are being doubled at the register. Cashiers are known to double for the wrong item (just to get through the computer system) and then mess up the other coupons you were planning on using.

Fourth, not all cashiers will be versed as well as you. Unfortunately, this rule is across the board as far as most stores. We study this. We learn the tricks and come prepared. They do not. If you have a problem with a coupon not doubling/a cashier not understanding the issue, ask for a manager. Be polite, but ask for a manager.
