Okay, so now Dominick’s is promoting it’s new “Thousands of New Everyday Low Prices” because they want to stay in step with Jewel’s “Big Relief Price Cut.” *sigh*
Don’t get me wrong, I am happy that everyday prices are lower. But why do they have to be so excited about it and spend so much money promoting what they should have done years ago?? They used to want us to pay almost $7 for a large jar of mayo. Really?? How is this cool?
Couldn’t they spend their money on advertising that said, “We’re sorry we were overpricing things for so long! We heard that you felt like we were ripping you off and we listened! Here’s a juice box on us.” That’s really all I would need to hear.
Anyone else?
